1 SEPTEMBER 2026, KUALA LUMPUR — Dato’ Kuok Meng Xiong has formally assumed the role of Group Managing Director (“GMD”) at PPB Group (“PPB”), effective 1 September 2026.

Mr Jeremy Goon has also assumed the role of Executive Director and will work closely with Meng Xiong and the leadership team to support the Group’s businesses and long-term growth.

Meng Xiong said:

Meng Xiong brings broad experience in business building, operations, and investments. He is the Managing Director of Kuok Brothers Sdn Bhd and an Alternate Director on the Board of Kuok (Singapore) Limited. He previously held senior leadership and executive roles within Shangri-La Group with a portfolio spanning China and Hong Kong SAR, South Asia, and Central Asia. In these roles, he oversaw hotel operations, project development, and new business expansion. He is also the Founder and Managing Director of K3 Ventures, a Singapore-based venture capital firm.

Meng Xiong succeeds Mr Lim Soon Huat, who retires as Group Managing Director and from the Board after close to two decades with the PPB Group. The Board and Meng Xiong thank Mr Lim for his leadership and contributions to the Group.  Mr Lim will continue to support the Group in an advisory capacity to the Board.
