On Friday, 25 July 2025, 67 enthusiastic staff members from PPB Group took part in a volunteer programme at Zoo Negara, Hulu Kelang, Ampang, themed “Wild in Giving.”
The volunteers arrived at the zoo at 8.00 a.m., enjoyed a light breakfast, and posed for a group photo—fresh and full of energy. They were then divided into two groups, each assigned to either painting or planting activities. One group painted the fence behind the Veterinary area, while the other weeded and planted heliconia saplings
along the Helikonia Walk.
After completing their tasks, everyone reconvened at Dataran Dato’ Ismail Hudson for a Certificate of Appreciation presentation by Zoo Negara Malaysia, recognising PPB’s support in beautifying Zoo Negara. A second group photo was taken but this time, looking a little messier, but clearly proud and satisfied. The day concluded with lunch at The Wild Zoo Negara Restaurant.
