COVID-19 Initiatives 2021

PPB contributed to the renovation and furnishing cost to set up a learning centre in Kota Damansara in collaboration with Community Transformation Initiative. This learning centre aims to create a fun and safe space for children and youth from needy families residing in PPR Kota Damansara to learn, grow and inculcate character values.

Under this project, PPB assisted 5 skilled needy individuals by engaging their services such as food catering, air-conditioner servicing, and renovations and matching them with welfare homes that required their services.

Many welfare homes and families had been badly affected by the pandemic and were unable to pay their utility bills. In FY2021, PPB assisted a total of 12 welfare homes and 149 needy families under the “Utility Assistance” project.
